The out-of-hours service operates a patient questionnaire and monitors responses on a weekly basis. The patient questionnaire is anonymous, but patients who wish to continue discussion of a particular issue do have the option to leave their contact details so that we can follow up, initially by telephone or email, to conclusion.
If you want to make a complaint about our service, we ask you to speak to the service manager in the first instance.
Jeremy Gent about Surrey GP Out of Hours Service, March, 2016Many thanks to Dr Lanz(Lans) for calling me back this evening. I feel confident in seeing a gp tomorrow since calling, even though none available today. Thanks for your support. Kind regards.
Clodagh cosh about Surrey GP Out of Hours Service, February, 2016I have been blown away by the service we received today using the 111 service. My 5 year old woke up with an ear infection this morning. I phoned 111 and my call was answered immediately and details exchanged with an extremely helpful and informative NHS representative. Within 10 minutes we had a follow up call confirming a Doctors appointment for a few hours later. This is such a reassuring service. All too quickly the NHS is criticised so I felt it only right to provide honest and positive feedback here today. Thankyou
Anne Marie Ellison about Surrey GP Out of Hours Service, January, 2016Absolutely fantastic service. My Mother was triaged and given an appointment within the hour. The GP who saw my Mother at the appointment time went above and beyond what we expected. The GP was kind and reassuring, fully explaining everything, and also provided additional advice regarding current medication. Thank you.
lynn stanborough about Surrey GP Out of Hours Service, September, 2015I telephoned this morning with my symptoms. The lady on the phone went through questions and gave me advice. I was given an appointment later that day. The service provided at this early stage was professional and personable. Thankyou
Peter Hambrook about Surrey GP Out of Hours Service, August, 2015I had occasion to call 111 last Tuesday following a fall in my garden that left me unable to stand up. One of your doctors visited me and proved very professional. After doing as through an investigation as he could he felt unhappy that he had the full story and recommended that I go to St Peter's A &E as soon as possible for a more thorough check up. I would like you to pass my thanks to him as I was kept in for two nights with a severe chest infection and if he hadn't made the correct decision the situation may have become critical. Please call or email me so that I can provide more information to help you identify him. In fact I would like to thank him personally on the phone if possible.
